With ‘From Above’, I wanted to give a different dimension to an ocean inspired painting. This acrylic painting on a canvas of 100cm x 80cm depicts a top view of the shore, with different shades of blue to enhance the levels of depth. My aim was not to achieve a realistic replica but rather to paint whatever I felt was the movement of the ocean and the texture of waves crashing.
